This year's production of Brazil's biggest Christmas event aims to awaken more intimate Christmas memories. Lights, stars, candy canes and cookies will be featured in the streets of Gramado from October 2022 to January 2023. All the decorations will be new, with exclusive pieces. The first details about the decorations and shows are already being revealed and generating excitement among Christmas lovers.
The 37th NatalLuz de Gramado will have four paid shows. Tickets can now be purchased directly from the event's official website, including The Great Christmas Parade and Nativitaten, the two most popular attractions at the event. The shows have fixed days of the week, but there are some extra dates. It's important to follow the schedule on the official Natal Luz website to choose the best day for you and your family.
This is the second edition of this attraction. In an immersive and interactive experience, the public will be able to feel all the emotions more intensely, with a sequence of incredible performances and pocket shows. The Reign of Christmas will tell the love story between Gramado and Natal Luz, going through all the phases of the festival, up to the present day, when the city in the Serra Gaúcha is known the world over for its Christmas charms.

Held since 2011, the Grand Christmas Parade is one of the main events of Natal Luz in Grado. According to the organizers, this year the Grand Parade will have the theme "A Christmas Eve", revisiting family traditions of preparations, from the beginning of decorating houses, preparing delicious Christmas dishes and buying presents - bringing back the best childhood memories.There will also be the annunciation of the angels, about the birth of the baby Jesus, with the guiding star and the three wise men as an integral part of the story.
It's in this show that Santa Claus will arrive by sleigh, bringing lights, colors and special effects to the avenue. The music, costumes and scenography are completely new, so for those who have seen the show in other editions, this will be a totally different experience. The show takes place on the outside of the Expogramdo, in a parade structure, with stands and everything taken care of so that everyone can be well accommodated.

Nativitaten
Nativitaten will have a new stage for this edition: the Serra Park Events Center, but it will still be held next to a lake. The show takes the audience on a journey through several remarkable moments of life on the planet, exploring the use of colors, lights and lots of glitter. All this scenery will be combined with the talent of dancers, singers and a pyrotechnic show. Nativitaten promises to awaken the magic of Christmas in everyone and make their eyes sparkle with so many emotions.

This year's Fantastic Factory is back with a bang. The show, which will have a classic theater format, will tell the story of Sofia, a little girl who doesn't believe in Santa Claus and ends up being led by an angel to the Fantastic Christmas Factory to see with her own eyes all the work done by the good old man and his helpers on Christmas Eve. The music, costumes and scenery are completely new. What's more, light projections and aerial acrobatics, trapeze and sleigh rides will mark the evenings!

Natal Luz 2022/2023 has a number of free attractions, including the traditional Switch-on Show, which will take place daily at 8pm. The show will take place in front of the Paláciodos Festivais and will bring magic, beauty and memories of the good feelings that Christmas brings to audiences of all ages!
In the Christmas Village, located in Praça das Etnias, local exhibitors will present their handmade Christmas products and various artistic performances can be watched for free every day from 9am to 9pm. Santa's House will be in the Christmas Village. Also open daily from 2pm to 6pm, this is where the Good Old Man will receive little ones and their letters.
Another free activity of Natal Luz will be the Tannenbaumfest, a Christmas tree decorating contest, where families and businesses come together to decorate these trees along Avenida Borges de Medeiros, the city's main street, on November 5. The trees will be on display until January 29, 2023.
The famous Rua Coberta will also host daily attractions, and Av. Borges de Medeiros will be even more enchanted at weekends (from Friday to Sunday) with the Christmas Parade, when a band of lead soldiers will invade the space with Christmas music classics, along with Santa Claus and his acrobatic and juggling helpers.
