In March of this year, the Ministry of Tourism launched a project that has recently become a protagonist in the sector, the National Gastronomic Tourism Program "Gosto Pelo Brasil". The aim is to develop gastronomic tourism and make Brazil's vocation as an international destination of excellence in this segment a reality.

Allied to this rise in the segment is the great novelty of the 34th edition of Festuris Gramado - International Tourism Fair, the Food & Drinks Experience Space. According to the organizers, the exhibition area exceeds 2,000 square meters and the proposal is for participants to immerse themselves in different gastronomic experiences, getting involved in the universe of aromas and flavors.

According to Eduardo Zorzanello, CEO of the event, which takes place from November 3 to 6 in Gramado, there will be a wide range of attractions and gastronomic destinations in the space, as well as wine tourism companies from the Vinhedos and Hortênsias regions, as well as from Argentina, and breweries. Food & Drinks will also feature experiences with yerba mate and chocolates, as well as other initiatives involving the gastronomic universe.

In an innovative way, the exhibitors will make their products available for tasting and marketing. "By combining this experience, it's easier to understand that a destination's gastronomic product makes it develop even more, and that's our aim, to show the best in the segment," Zorzanello said.

Marta Rossi, founder and CEO of the event, emphasizes the importance of combining business with gastronomy. "We're talking about identity, belonging and the experience that gastronomy gives us, which has everything to do with the essence of tourism," she says.

In addition to the food areas that already operate on the days of the event, in the Gastronomic Alley, the exhibiting restaurants will market their dishes in a different way. Another novelty is the Gastronomic Arena, different from previous editions, with chefs putting into practice the table culture of different regions of the country and, to complete the experiences, there will also be a Wine Class and another Gourmet Area.
