Festuris at Fitur: an opportunity to connect with the world of tourism business

In the next few days, Festuris - Feira Internacional de Turismo de Gramado will be taking part in one of the world's biggest tourism events in Spain. From January 18 to 22, the Madrid International Tourism Fair - Fitur - will take place, with an exhibition area of 69,000 square meters and 165 countries represented.

As one of the main fairs in the international segment, Fitur is a leader for the receptive and outbound markets in Ibero-America. There will be five days of intense activity for the B2B (first three days) and B2C (last two days) audiences. For this 43rd edition, the event expects to attract 82,000 professionals and 30,000 people from the general public. "Fitur is the great global meeting point for tourism professionals, an immense fair that brings us a lot of knowledge and endless possibilities," says Festuris CEO Eduardo Zorzanello, who will be at the event.

Festuris has been present at Fitur for years. As well as prospecting new clients and presenting the event to the international trade, Festuris is joining forces with Embratur to promote Brazil and attract potential buyers to the country. "With tourism picking up again, this work front is very important. Brazil is full of destinations and attractions that international agents and tourists need to know about," says Zorzanello. There are eight pavilions and 8,360 exhibiting companies in this edition.

Silvia Zorzanello Trophy in memoriam

One of the events that has been part of Fitur for 12 years is the awarding of the "Silvia Zorzanello in memoriam Trophy" to Brazilian destinations or personalities who contribute to the promotion of Brazilian tourism. The honor is offered by the Excelencias Group.

This year, the state of Rio de Janeiro will be honored. The award will be presented by Eduardo Zorzanello and José Santiago to the Rio de Janeiro State Secretary of Tourism, Gustavo Tutuca.
