At Festuris 2021, the Hotel Alpestre announced improvements to its structure and now, at this year's event, which takes place from November 3 to 6 at Serra Park, it is showing what has already come of its investment of around R$7 million.
The hotel recently completed work on its leisure area, which includes a new pool and jacuzzi area and a new recreation area. There are two new thermal pools, one for adults and the other for children, with a shower and two indoor jacuzzis with a relaxing hydro massage system. The highlight is the exclusive design where part of the adult pool is in a covered indoor area, and the other part is outside, with a new deck with sun loungers. All of this is integrated with the hotel's beautiful 12,000 m2 garden; and as it is all glazed, it allows - in addition to natural light - an incredible setting at any time of year.
These pools are next to the "Brinquedoteca do Alceu e da Lola", also the new children's play area at the Alpestre, which has changed location and expanded its area to 150 m2, three times larger than the old play area. The playroom is now themed, fun and Instagrammable. There, the structure is prepared for a variety of activities for the little ones, such as slime, collage, drawing and video game workshops, among others. There's also space for cooking, movies and dancing. And there's no shortage of toys, such as a complete children's kitchen, drawing walls, a slide, etc. This new play area is themed: it revolves around Alceu and Lola, the friendly reindeer who are the mascots of the Hotel Alpestre and are part of children's imaginations.
But the improvements don't stop there. By the end of this year, Alpestre will have:
- New Teen Space: a super Instagrammable space where teens can meet to play video games and board games, as well as being the perfect setting for meeting new friends and taking selfies.
- New façade: facing one of Gramado's main avenues, Avenida das Hortênsias.
- New reception: the entrance will be on Avenida das Hortênsias and will have underfloor heating.
- New sports court: a court for beach tennis.
- New restaurant: with cuisine focused on the Alps, especially the cuisine of Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland, signed by a new chef.
- Alpestre Wellness Space: which is being completely renovated and where there will be the possibility of facial and body therapies for relaxation.
- Large living room with 2 fireplaces: this space now has a modern mountain-style concept, with wood, stone and chess decoration, underfloor heating, and a view of the gardens.
It's also worth remembering that, as part of its new features, Alpestre inaugurated the "Alceu and Lola room" in October 2021. The idea was to make the rooms more playful and make the children the protagonists of the stay. In this sense, all the decoration was designed in a mountain style, and the little ones who stay there will find the characters' personal items such as toothbrushes, slippers, hats, blankets, etc., as well as personalized bed linen and towels. The 25m2 apartments comfortably accommodate two adults and two children and have all the comfort and excellence characteristic of Alpestre: minibar, LCD TV, free Wi-Fi, heating, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe and amenities for the whole family.
Alpestre's strategy is to focus more and more on the "family" public, reaffirming its attributes in this niche. The hotel is already a veteran in TripAdvisor's choice of travelers asone of the best family hotels in Brazil.
