Promoted by the Gramadense Academy of Letters and Arts (AGLA), the show "Alma Única" will take place in Gramado on December 3 at 8pm. The event will be free and will take place at the Sociedade Recreio Gramadense (SRG).

Underlined by lighting specially created by Carol Zimmer, the show represents the artistic synergy involving dance, singing and chamber music, bringing the audience the possibility of a performance with the intensity and richness that the languages of dance and music combined provide. "We, at Alma Única, think of the plastic vision of the show, where everything is integrated," says soprano Rosimari Oliveira.

The show brings together pearls from the European classical repertoire, reveres Astor Piazzolla's tango and the colorful Brazilian music, from Dorival Caymmi to Villa-Lobos, including Tom Jobim and João Pernambuco. "The show, through its diversity, seeks to build in the spectator an imaginary plot of enchantment and artistic encounter between music, dance and song," says musical director and flautist, Tita Sartor.

The performance also intertwines a Chamber Music recital, with voice and ballet, which moves from the erudite to the popular; between the Brazilian soul and the universal, evoking the expressive and artistic character of music and dance, through sounds, words and gestures.

Dancer Débora Brandt de Alencastro says that Alma Única brings to the stage a direct conversation with music and dance, where both take place on stage simultaneously and, in a way, the dance is embraced by the music. "The show brings a certain coziness to this concert with its carefully selected repertoire and thoughtful stage direction," Débora points out.

The dancer's interventions, combined with the different combinations of performers, especially soprano Rosimari Oliveira's voice, Leandro Cardona's harp, an instrument with a sound of rare beauty, Tita Sartor's excellent flute, Marcel Estivalet's guitar, musician Arlei Mont`Negro's percussion and guest musician Matheus Kleber's accordion, make the show worthy of the meeting of languages from both a conceptual and aesthetic point of view.
